Our house
The B&B is located on the outskirts of Viagrande, an Etnean town rich in history and traditions, once the summer residence of the nobility of Catania. Its name derives from Vilardi, one of the oldest districts of Viagrande, almost entirely destroyed by the earthquake of 1693. The house is located just 5 minutes walk from both the Mother Church and the delightful Viscalori village. It is a characteristic Sicilian mansion from the end of the 19th century, renovated in full respect of traditional architecture, with large rooms with vaulted roofs and thick lava stone walls. The country-style furniture with a touch of ethnic elements gives a feeling of warmth and familiarity in all environments. The attentions of Susanna, the hostess, will do the rest to make you feel relaxed and pampered, better than at home!
An environmental friendly B&B
We believe in sustainable development and are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. For this purpose we use solar energy during the day from the photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of the house, we are attentive to the consumption of energy, gas and water, we try not to overdo the use of detergents and other polluting products, we consume and offer local and organic products. We take care of the garden with natural methods and without the use of pesticides and herbicides. For all this we ask for the collaboration of our guests, making them part of our commitment to a better future.
